    Using the code FREEDEL at checkout will provide customer with free shipping. Postage will be discounted to 0.00. All free shipping orders will be sent via regular australia post trackable bags, regardless of which postage option you choose.

    SALON SERVICES POLICY

    We do NOT offer REFUNDS for change of mind on any hair services provided after you have left our premises. A thorough consult is provided at the beginning of the service to make sure staff adhere to client requests. If you are unhappy with your colour service please inform staff member before paying and staff member will alter or change hair service to your liking if possible. We do not charge you unless you have happy with your service. Once you pay and leave our premise any further changes are at your own cost. 

    On certain occasions If you are unhappy with your service and contact us after leaving we will happily have you back in the salon to fix/ change style but this is determined on a case to case basis. As we strive to have highly positive customer experiences we do try to meet all customers needs. 

    30 DAY RETURNS POLICY FOR PRODUCTS ONLY - not electrical items - excluding clearance items also 

    If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, we are happy for you to return your item(s) for a store credit. Please email our Customer Service Team who will advise you of the process and assist you with organising your return.

    The following conditions apply to return items:

    • Products must be unused & unopened. 
    • Products must arrive back with us with in original box/packaging in new resalable condition.
    • Return authorisation must be obtained from our Customer Service Team before sending any items back.
    • Return shipping costs are at the expense of the customer.
    • Shipping & Insurance fees cannot be credited.
    • Products returned damaged will not be credited.
    • Hair Extensions must be in packaging and clear not opened or worn. 

    I have purchased the wrong product/changed my mind, can I return these to you?

    If the purchase of an item not advertised on clearance was made within 14 days we can offer an exchange provided the items are unused/opened. The item must be in its original packaging and in the same condition you purchased it in. You must have the receipt/invoice, if you are unable to locate this we are unable to accept the items back. Please note some items are unable to be returned/exchanged due to health regulations. If you require further information regarding returns please contact our team

    Electrical Warranties

    We do not refund electrical items for change of mind. Please read policy before purchasing. 

    If an electrical item you have purchased becomes faulty during its warranty period, please contact us immediately.  We will provide you with the relevant contact information for the Manufacturer who handle all warranty issues directly.  For warranty time frames please refer to the manufactures instructions booklet.  Warranty periods commence from the date of purchase.

    Faulty Goods (other than electrical)

    If you believe an item you have purchased is faulty, please contact our Customer Service Team within 7 days of receiving your order so that we can advise you of the necessary requirements to return you item. Upon receipt of the item it will be inspected by our Returns Department.  The product must not be more than 20% used at the time of returning it. If the item is deemed to be faulty, you are entitled to a replacement or credit note.  Please note that a product is not deemed faulty based on personal opinion or suitability after use.

    Products containing pumps, on very rare occasions, may not function to the optimum design, however, if the product contents is unaffected and still usable we are not able to offer credits or replacements.  Please contact our Customer Service Team for advice regarding how to manage Pumps.  The same Policy applies to spray nozzles if they become clogged after use.

    Damaged Goods

    We pack and ship your items with the greatest of care, however once in transit with our shipping carriers - the parcel is beyond our control. We offer optional Shipping Insurance during the checkout process to cover your items against any damage or loss that may occur. 

    Should an item in your parcel arrive damaged in transit and you have covered your order with Shipping Insurance, please contact our Customer Service Team within 7 days of receiving your order so that we can make the necessary arrangements. 

     Due to Covid 19 refunds will only be issued for sealable items (eg nail powder with plastic seal untouched) or damaged goods. 
    Refunds paid via afterpay or third parties will be approved minus fees and charges applicable to afterpay - eg. Total of purchase minus 8% fee already paid to afterpay upon purchase completion. We are simply refunding amount processed to us. 

    Due to Covid 19 rules and regulations once product leaves our store premises we cannot guarantee sterile exchange therefore unable to accept change of mind returns. 

    To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging - applies to sealed items only until pandemic is declared over. 

    Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases. As Well as Hair Extensions once applied or opened. hair extensions are a hygiene product and are unfortunately not refundable after use or opening as per Australian hygiene regulations. 

    Additional non-returnable items:
    - Gift cards

    To complete your return, we require proof of purchase.
    Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

    There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
    - Any item not in its original condition, but is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
    - Any item that is returned more than 14 days after delivery

    Refunds (if applicable)
    Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
    If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

    Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
    If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
    Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
    Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

    Sale items (if applicable)
    Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

    Exchanges (if applicable)
    We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at caryacademy@outlook.com and send your item to: Cary Beauty Supplies, 4/84 bemersyde drive , Berwick VIC 3806, Australia.

    Gifts
    If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

    If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

    You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

    Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

    If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
